Terms of Service

Effective 2026-08-17. Using this site means you accept these terms.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Expert Tools Kit ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Expert Tools Kit provides free, browser-based utilities. All processing occurs on your own device. We provide no storage, no processing infrastructure, and no guarantee of continued availability of any particular tool.

3. No account, no fee

The Service requires no registration and is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce, modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to process content you do not have the right to process.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, or to interfere with its operation.
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Reproduce, redistribute or resell the Service or its content without permission.
  • Remove, obscure or interfere with advertising displayed on the Service in a manner intended to defraud advertisers.

5. Your content

You retain all rights in the files and text you process. Because processing happens on your device, we acquire no rights in your content and take on no obligations in respect of it. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any content you use with the Service, including any third-party copyright, trade secret, personal data or confidentiality obligations attaching to it.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service's design, written content, tool implementations and branding are owned by Expert Tools Kit and protected by copyright. The open-source libraries used are licensed separately by their respective authors under MIT, Apache-2.0 and BSD licences, and their terms govern their use.

You may quote or cite content from this site with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce substantial portions of the written content without permission.

7. Output

You own the output of every tool and may use it for any purpose, including commercially. We make no claim to it and impose no attribution requirement on it.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

In plain terms: the tools are built carefully and tested, and they may still be wrong. Verify anything that matters. Do not rely on a calculator here for a financial, legal, medical or tax decision without independent confirmation. Keep a backup of any file before processing it.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXPERT TOOLS KIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

10. Third-party links and advertising

The Service displays advertising and contains links to third-party sites, some of which are affiliate links. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, privacy practices or availability of any third-party site. Following an outbound link is at your own risk.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Expert Tools Kit from any claim arising out of your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of any applicable law.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms at any time. The effective date at the top indicates the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Consumers resident elsewhere retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of their local law.

14. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
