Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-08-17. Short version: your files never reach us, but analytics and advertising cookies are set, and our ad partners set theirs — which you can opt out of.

The one thing that matters most

Files and text you process with our tools are never transmitted to us. Every tool runs entirely in your browser using your device's own processor. We do not receive your images, documents, text or calculations, we do not store them, and we could not produce them if asked. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any tool on the site. No request carrying your content will appear.

What we do collect

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are used. It sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) that persist for up to two years, and Google may combine this with data from its other services.

What it records: This records: the page URL, the referring URL, an approximate country derived from IP address, browser and operating system family, screen size band, and whether the visit was on mobile or desktop. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, does not track you across sites, and does not create a profile. IP addresses are used transiently to derive country and are not stored.

Local storage on your device

We store a small amount of data in your browser's localStorage, which stays on your device and is never transmitted:

  • Theme preference — whether you chose light or dark.
  • Tool settings — for example your saved wheel entries, or your Pomodoro interval lengths.

You can clear this at any time through your browser's site data settings. Every tool degrades gracefully if storage is unavailable or blocked.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard access logs containing IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent, for security and abuse prevention. These are retained for a short period under Cloudflare's own policy and are not used for advertising or profiling.

Advertising

This site is funded by display advertising. Our advertising partners may set cookies and use device identifiers to serve and measure ads.

Google AdSense

Where AdSense is active, Google and its partners may use cookies — including the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Where required, a consent management platform requests your permission before any advertising or measurement cookie is set, in line with the ePrivacy Directive and the requirements of Google's EU user consent policy. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the privacy settings link in the footer. Declining consent means you will see non-personalised ads rather than no ads.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to third-party products are affiliate links, marked as sponsored. If you buy something after following one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. These links do not affect which tools we build or what we say about them, and they are always disclosed on the page where they appear.

What we never do

  • We do not sell personal information. Under the CCPA/CPRA definition, sharing data with advertising partners for cross-context behavioural advertising may be treated as a "sale" or "share" — use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer to opt out.
  • We do not require or offer accounts, so we hold no email addresses, passwords or profiles.
  • We do not receive, store or process the files and text you use with the tools.
  • We do not use dark patterns, auto-consent, or pre-ticked boxes.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Our lawful basis for analytics is legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage; for advertising cookies it is your consent. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Because we do not hold identifiable data about you, most access and erasure requests can be answered only in respect of consent records. You may lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.

If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise any right, email info@experttoolskit.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

If you are in Canada (PIPEDA) or Australia (Privacy Act)

You have equivalent rights of access and correction. The same contact address applies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

The site is served from a global CDN, so the static files are delivered from the edge location nearest you. Our analytics and advertising partners may process data in the United States and elsewhere under Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with HSTS. Because there is no backend, no database and no user accounts, there is no store of personal data to breach. This is a deliberate security property of the architecture rather than a policy promise.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the effective date at the top and, where the change affects how data is used, announced on the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Contact

Privacy questions and rights requests: info@experttoolskit.com.

Do you store the files I process?

No. Files are processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted to us. We have no server that could receive them.

Do you use cookies?

Yes. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to measure visits, and advertising partners set their own. None of them can see the files you process, which never leave your device.

How do I opt out of personalised ads?

Use Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info, or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe. The privacy settings link in the footer reopens the consent dialog.

Can I use this site with an ad blocker?

Yes. Every tool works fully with ads blocked. We would rather you use the tools.

What is stored in localStorage?

Only your theme preference and per-tool settings such as saved wheel entries. It stays on your device and is never transmitted.

Is the site GDPR compliant?

Yes. Local processing means there is no transfer of your file data to us at all, and advertising cookies are consent-gated in the EEA and UK.
