This form composes an email in your own mail app. Nothing is submitted to a server from this page, which is consistent with how the rest of the site works.
Reporting a bug
The three things that make a bug report immediately actionable:
- Which browser and version, and whether it is desktop or mobile. Canvas, the File API and codec support all differ meaningfully between engines, and iOS Safari in particular behaves differently from everything else.
- What you expected versus what happened. "The output was 4 MB when the input was 2 MB" is diagnosable. "It did not work" is not.
- The file type and rough size, if a file was involved. Please do not send us the file itself — we would rather reproduce it than receive your document.
Requesting a tool
We will build almost anything that can run client-side. The constraint is architectural rather than one of effort: if a tool fundamentally needs a server — a plagiarism checker, a live site crawler, an email verifier, anything that queries a database we do not have — we cannot build it without abandoning the thing that makes this site worth using.
Tell us what you are trying to do rather than what tool you want, and there is often a client-side route to the same outcome.
Advertising and partnerships
We work with standard display networks and place a maximum of four banner or native units per page. We do not accept popunder, push notification, interstitial or social bar formats, and we do not sell sponsored posts, guest posts or dofollow links. Please do not ask.
Press and licensing
For interviews, technical detail on how the tools work, or permission to reproduce material from the site, email us with "Press" in the subject line.
How quickly will you reply?
Within two business days for most messages. Bug reports with clear reproduction steps get looked at first.
Should I attach my file to a bug report?
Please do not. Describe the file type and size instead. We would rather reproduce the problem than receive your document, which is the whole point of the site.
Do you accept guest posts or link exchanges?
No. We do not publish sponsored content and do not sell links.
Can I request a feature on an existing tool?
Yes, and these are often the easiest to add. Tell us what you are trying to accomplish.
Is the contact form sending my message to a server?
No. It composes a message in your own email client. Nothing is transmitted from this page.
